West Central Iowa | The common element to the missing speeds is the A Brake (AB element). It could be an electrical or solenoid problem or a problem internally, but you DO NOT want to tear it down until you have performed the proper tests and know for sure where the problem is. We have the trans out of a 8400 right now that did not want to back up.....it had a blown piston seal in the reverse clutch. The pistons w/seals have been updated to a newer part number. | |
