Subject: RE: CaseIH 8940 Overheating Update

I removed the new radiator and brought the new and old radiator to a shop to have them flow tested. Both radiators tested the same. A new thought thou. The new radiator has 6 rows of tubes 1/2 in. wide and 64 rows wide equals 192 inches. 6X.5X64=192 The old radiator has 5 rows tubes 3/4 in. wide and 62 rows wide equals 232.5. 5X.75X62=232.5 Does this mean that the old radiator is 40.5 in. bigger? Or 17% bigger? The next step I am going to try is to put the old radiator in the tractor and see if it overheats. Thanks for your help. Mark.
