We had a cow last year that had a backwards calf that was dead inside her probably for a few days, It smelled rotten and was all bloated up. Took her up to the vet he cut the calf out and said the cow didn't have much of a chance. He gave her Excede and we took her home and she lived and did quite well, but she didn't breed back.
Had my 1st C-section today............
