SW Ohio
we use scour halt (the red stuff for pigs). you can give them it twice a day for several days. we fill a 12cc syringe for our bucket calves twice a day. you can also give sulfur pills from vet and mix pepto (human stuff) in milk. WE usually do all three things for a few days and sulfur pills are added to milk twice a day for five days. electrolytes are good. there is some gelling stuff that is really good if they eat and then immediately scour it stays in them a little longer and is suppose to help their gut heal. if it is a bucket/bottle calf, you can also add a little to their milk, but also give it at noon time a day or two. give it more often if they are really scouring bad. it is really pain when they get weak and depressed and don't want to eat. we tube them then... we've never given the other meds for scouring, but i suppose they would help if infection was the unlying cause. good luck!
how old is they calf?
