Huron County | Thanks for your reply CMWS. My tractor has a button on the reverser side of the steering wheel that activates the park brake. I understand the the logic of your thinking and will make sure the mechanic has covered all the same possibilities. It frustrates me that AGCO doesn't research where the problem is exactly as my dealers network has at least 4 failures in its sales area. That means that if they are still using the same valve in current production you have to expect the same failure rate in the future, some on warranty and some not. It just hurts to have to pay for 1/2 price valve(thankful for that) plus a days labour where a simpler repair may have been possible. Its been a good tractor but every one needs to be aware of problems if you are looking at used or new, still using this valve. I was interested how dealers or mechanics were handling this south of the border. Thanks again, Terry | |
