South Georgia | We've used dry boron (either Solubor or Drexel's Beau-ron) forever without any problems. Dump it in a mixing pot with water and agitation, and as soon as there's no more floating on to, blow it into the sprayer. Only time I've ever had any problems with it was when I've had a mental lapse and put it in the same load as something in a water soluble pouch. (If you don't know, then I encourage you to try it. You'll get an education the quality of which can't be surpassed!)
This year, though, I'm using liquid, as I priced it in a shuttle, and while it's still higher than dry, it was close enough that the convenience made it worthwhile.
