WY, OK
1--5 Watt HF panel ($35-$50) Don't forget your 20% off coupon
1--12Volt battery that was getting weak in a vehicle or tractor We've used these kind of batteries for years after they don't work in a car.
1-- wood box ($0+)
1-- 12Volt charger with as many joules as you can afford, has to be at least 2. ($150+) Best we have had to date are White Lightning chargers from Koehn.

Put battery and charger in box. Hook charger to fence. Hook charger to the battery with supplied alligator clips, Hook panel to battery with supplied alligator clips. Panel comes with 2 rods that you screw to the back and point it to the South and keep out of the box and/or fence post shadows. Close box and put as much of the wire inside or under the panel as possible.

You will then have a charger that will work for months barring nothing blows the panel over or eats the wires. The all in one chargers don't have the juice to last or charge a fence worth a damn, but they drain your wallet nicely.
