The March 23rd report was 2.6% above last years report on feed.2.8% more placed then last year.
Imports of feeder cattle 5.8% above last year(2011) 45.5% above the average from 2006-2010.
I guess we should all get on the bullish bandwagon,myself-wonder if we should maybe be cautious,when things get to high there is substitutes-imported feeder cattle,imported meat,higher price corn-maybe start do more research?
Not in the Markwright campground yet-not in that $15-$30 higher market at all-would be happy to see the rebound to that $130 but with some of those feeder cattle bought with a $135+ breakeven coming to a $130 as like being sent to the corner of the room for a time-out.
