sw minnesota | cattle don't like dark holes, can you have the whole alley inside? I can sort in here but I usually sort in the pen outside, If I had to sort a few off it would work good, im kind of lazy and usually sell the whole pen at a time! U have a good Idea and if my main gate goin into corrall opened the opposite way I could run the ones out of head gate and back into the corrall/ working area. The scale system would be easy to add in at a later day. I just posted pictures to give you ideas of a homemade working facility I guess. I have bin sheets available pretty cheap so thats why I did that and most of the steel came from a steel yard for .30 a lb, all leftovers or odd size pieces I made work. I do want to cover mine somehow like garvo did, and his facility is really nice but I was on a very t=ight budget building this so just did what worked. I have the extra pen in mine because the shed had open space so I just use it for sick pen. | |
