Oregon
Depends- Good water from the valley and a John Deere A? Tap water. Well water from E. Oregon and a newer Tier 3 or 4 equipment? Cool Guard II premix or ELC and distilled water. I use distilled in everything except new Deere equipment- and there I just use the Deere premix. Old school equipment didn't seem to matter - but new equipment (EGR coolers, oil coolers, turbo actuators) are pretty fine components so I use only pre-mix or distilled water. I keep 2.5 gal of Cool Guard II, 2 gal of Chevron ELC and a couple gallons of distilled water bottles on the service truck. At the shop we have bulk premix. -Mike
