Nebraska Panhandle
Start slow rpm in coarse hay then speed rpm's up. Seemed to bale better if you crowded it some toward the last 1/2 of the bale. In alfalfa wait till humidity is about 40 % or a little more or else crawl back in bed. They were a good baler. Belt guides needed replaced every now and then. Sometimes hay fed stems first baled better than going the heads first way. I got a 566 after the 530 and it was a lot better baler at starting bales.
