Say what you will about the magazine,  my impression of Loren Kruze is that he is real upstanding guy of guy.  Your story supports that.

Quite a few years back, one of the local chapters of the Fellowship of Christian Farmers invited Loren to their annual event as their guest speaker. First, last and only time I've heard him speak in person,  but I got a very favorable impression of him from that one event.
