Yep to what everyone has been saying.

No corn in our bins, maybe right, maybe wrong, but Im satisfied with the 2011 finances.   Usually there is an incentive to wait on corn sales, this past 6 months here would have been/is pure speculation to hang on unsold....... Nothing wrong with that.    I didn't have the cuhonies to wait for 7 dollar corn, when 6-6.5 gives a large enough tax problem.


There was a storm event, 30 + mile wide stretch from south dakota to minneapolis that leveled bins, groves, sheds, and crops.   I had baseball sized hail come through 5 windows on July 1st.    Im contemplating dropping RA coverage completely for 2013 and only taking out production hail insurance.
