Subject: Silage Question

southern Minnesota
I am looking at putting up a pile of sweet corn silage, somewhere around 400 ton. This is my first time to ever have silage, just wondering how big a pile like this would be. Also is it better to go long narrow, how high, cover, or no cover. I am thinking of putting down a crushed rock base, and then topping with ag lime. Will this work, or should I do something different. Sorry lot of questions at once, any help would be appreciated.
