| Not sure about your tax and food processing laws but here you can donate up to certain value of meat to non profit organizations and you can collect the market value of the animal and use it for a tax write off of up to 75% of the value of the pork. So every year I donate 30 free hogs to different community organizations, even if I did not get a write off I would still do it for my own piece of mind and to give back to the community that puts up with having our hog barns around. And as far as processing the meat you might have to arrange something with the organization you are donating too to have a local abattoir process it.
