western OK panhandle | I just purchased some more cows last week. I got eleven 3-year-olds angus cows bred to Hales Angus bulls. They are only P1's, but I only gave $1075 each - good looking cows, a little thin, but not bad.
I also got some solid mouth P2's (all but 2 are not fancy at all) for $710-$1100 each and one pair - a hereford cross cow (solid mouth) with a black baldy calf for $1175. This was in Clayton, NM on Wednesday. I guess the little shot of rain we got is making me optimistic. | |
