Subject: So do those little treasures I leave.................

“These are the times that try men's souls.”
in my pants pockets count as a gift for my wife? My wife makes it a point to clean my pants pockets out when doing laundry. She takes all my quarters, and other small change. Also she makes sure my pocket knife doesn't go though laundry. The one she really cussed me on was the time I left a piece of beef calf ear in my back pants pocket. When we brand out on the desert I keep a ear notch in back pocket as I work for a counter- marker. That way I get a count of how many calves I branded. When done branding I write number down in my tally book. I forgot to get them all cleaned out of my pocket when I went home.

Wife was fuming mad one day, when she found a ear notch in bottom of washing machine! I replied well at least it was clean! Sometimes women find no humor in things I do.
