| Hi everybody hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me. My dad and i just got done replacing the trans clutch pack in our 4640 and on our test run all gears work except when you shift into 7th it's like the trans locks up and kills the engine, 8th is no better. we have been working on this tractor on and off for the last 4 years replacing both front and rear hyd pumps and now this. we are tired of dealing with these really large repair bills on this tractor were hoping we don't have to tear this whole thing down again.
