SW Iowa | Is compaction a concern with your type of dirt, and your farm? I would go with tracks, I like to get something done and have the % slip down around 0 all the time instead of 10-15%. How much does future fuel savings figure into this formula, since you will be going forward instead of burning fuel slipping?
Its a no brainer for me, however I have not spent much time around a Quad. We do not have any more expenses to date on our track machines over a wheel machine, and one has been on the farm since 1993.
