Yes, the weather underground of the late 60's and early 70's might have fit that definition, but what does that have to do with www.wunderground.com? One of the founders is Jeff Masters; flew with hurricane hunters a few decades ago and has a PhD in meteorology. To my knowledge there is no relationship between above entities in spite of the likeness of the names. Perhaps you could enlighten me...
