E.Central MN | The mild winter weather looks like it will "allow" more acres to get planted to corn this year compared to last year. Will more acres get planted, we don't know yet, but it looks likely, less chance of major flooding, more fertilizer and field work was done last fall as well. We won't know if drought will raise its ugly head until later in the growing season, but areas like Texas have had some beneficial rains. My crystal ball is still in the shop.... I think I dropped my hammer on it last year. | |
