Some guys swear by Mack trucks, some guys don't like them. The older Macks were strong and were quite heavy duty, the newer ones are have been put on a diet, my Mack loving service manager gave up on them when they tried to comply with the new emissions standards. The other knock on them was the amount of Mack only parts that had to be purchased from Mack only, and therefore they were more expensive to repair.
