2 rabid skunks found in our county the last few months. Last one was attacking the family pet.
Me personally running across some young unproductive looking youth out engaged in "chit chat" on the county road. (their words) I told them to get lost after I took pictures of them with my phone. Had my handgun in the front seat of my pickup. They admitted they had been out there shooting. Read: breaking the law 1) parked on a county road 2) shooting while on the road
Couple years ago had a neighbor catch a guy stealing copper wire and chased him down. The deputy that arrested him said the low-life had already shot at officers before in times past. Neighbor was lucky the guy didn't turn violent.
This is just what I can think of off the top of my head. I'll keep a handgun handy when I am out working thank you very much. Why not? The criminals are usually armed. Evens things up a little. |
