south Texas , York Rife Freemason
the sunflower is a good disc. my neighbor has one i have run it alot its a 28foot h.d. we pull it at about 6mph with an old 850 versatile ,it does a good job in hard ground and i havent used the first welding rod or wrench on it yet . not many sunflowers around here but alot of the 650 deeres and they are a good disc too ,other neighbor has a 30 foot 650 ,you need the wide disc spacing for deep tillage. for the h.d. disc"s figure on 10 h.p. per foot . no rocks here so i cant say how well they do in rocks . cant go wrong with the deere or the sunflower ,either of them will bury lots of trash.
