| Depends on how you put the words together--but there is an advantage in the value of wheat vs corn. Tonight in the March close from the CBOT or CME the costs to feed corn--CH=6.44/56=$0.115/lb. WH=6.30/60=$0.105/lb. Lot's of other issues in feeding wheat vs corn, but this spread is not bullish for the price of corn vs the price of wheat.
I talked to a freind on the Delmarva pennisula of Maryland today--tells me they planted commercial peas yesterday, potatoes today, and that all kinds of feild work will start hard on Monday if they see no more rain. Regards | |
