| Is this sprayer new to you, so that you are familiar with how it normally behaves ?
Two boom valves...meaning one for the left side, and one for the right...?
What type of valve are they.. ?
Assuming they are an electrically actuated gate valve, you'd have to suspect either some sort of foreign material stuck inside, or possibly part of the sealing surface is coming away, in either case preventing full shut off.
Could be the connection between the electric actuator and the valve mechanism is sheared..?
I think you just have to take things apart enough to see inside the suspect valve, and check that it is working as well as it appears to be. Is it easy to swap valves, and therefore determine of it is actually a malfunctioning valve, or some other weird thing, like someones plumbing mistake? | |
