Subject: RE: Gas Prices

East central Iowa

I see the president of the US wants to raise gas prices more.

A few mentally challenged people believe that increasing the tax on oil companies will somehow lower the cost of gas.  Once again the administration and senate are ruled by people that want to raise taxes, lower the standard of living and blame producers.

Sapphire Energy, whose execs fund Democratic politicians, got $100 million in federal cash to turn algae into gasoline, yet hired only 36 new employees with the money and can't get the price of pond scum fuel below $26 a gallon.

The Chevy Volt is subsidized $7,500 per car (which the White House wants to increase to $10,000),GM sold 7,671 Volts last year.  So 7671 volts cost the taxpayers  $57,532,500.
