"The catch of his life" was the title of the local paper this morning...the french trawler "Trevignon" towed the cruise ship to the next harbour. the article stated that according to the conventions on sea the savior would be entitled to half the value of the rescued ship and load. If this goes to the captain or his company? However, the crew will have a story to tell next time in the tavern... PS baling twine or wire and duct tape should be obligatory for any cruise farther than half a mile from the shore :-) I bet there was no farmer on board to operate these commodities properly and get the diesel running...
