up here, if a bull calf is 96 or 98-125 pounds they are bring top dollar and decent price. Normally in the 115-130 dollar range. We have decided that unless a calf is in the premium range stated above, we are gonna keep him, feed him waste milk, nut him and feed him feed refusals and agbag waste etc. once they are old enough. Probly be on a pond pasture down the road mostly. Might not make us alot, but figure if we are going to practically give them away might as well have them here growing "interest" eating excess feed, so we can sell them if we need some rainy day money if for nothing else...
