Ravenna Ohio
Disposal wells here in Ohio. There is a small project to clean the brine to use as road deicer. I don,t know the status of that. Another project is cleaning to recycle for well reuse. I think that has excellent potential. Was allowed to be dumped raw on dirt roads at one time. I see no merit in raw product surface application at this time. Other projects included running through sewer plants. Turns out it was sewer plants seeing a chance to make money because their sewage was below allowable loading numbers. They were just blending well waste to maximum allowable and dumping in rivers. Bad idea. Here in Ohio I believe we have solid rules and secure pratices in place for fracking. As with anything it will be a matter of dilligence to keep our houses in order.
