Good Post Russ. We are ALL responsible for using antibotics in the proper manner. Someone else posted on here that they treated a cow with polyflex, and the vet said since it was only one cow they didn't have to drop the milk. Now I don't know how many cows that gentelman milks, BUT if he gets a violative residue, the VET is also responsible and can be fined besides just the farmer. IMHO, the cost of dumping milk is cheaper than the cost of buying a tanker load. Also any drugs that are not labeled for use in lactating dairy cows or dairy cattle over 20 months of age, have a zero tolerance in meat and milk.
