Subject: How good are Cat 830 corn heads?

West Central, IL
Looking for a corn head for the new "to me" 9600. I am still debating if I will put a 6 or 8 row head on it. I have a 643 now for the 7700 (keeping both). It does the job, but not a big fan of how it leaves the stalks. I can find cat corn heads in my price range, but how good of a head are they? The ones I have looked at are from the early 2000's. I know the JD 43 series have stood the test of time. I have a cat dealer that is not too farm from me, but would be farther then I'm going now for parts by a long shot.

Just kicking ideas around.

Thanks guys.
