Under 5 won't get much of a trailer, there's a bunch of 36' 2001 Wabash's old home depo trailers, on truck paper, real nice for what you want to do, around 7.5k . To the suggestion to cut a van trl. in half would be a bad idea because the trl gets its strength from being a box, cut or remove any part of the box and the strength is gone
