I think of 'em like tracks in the sand.  They point where they've been, not where they're going.

The video reminds me of someone I know who got towed in a 2WD 484 IH behind a 1 ton truck.  For a long time. With no power steering.  On an 18ft chain. With no horn.  At 35+mph. Often on two wheels.  It's vewwy vewwy impowtant for the tow-er to pay attention to the tow-ee. And go vewwy vewwy slowly.
