Know a guy doing similar work, right or wrong, he charges his hourly rate from the time he leaves until he gets back. He does exclude meal times or other personal activities. His feeling is that it's simpler, easier, and reduces explainations. Have also watched him make adjustments to reduce the total bill. I do dislike charges of mileage and hourly, one or the other.
I agree. You are in business to make money. If you can not make 'shop rate' on the road, your time is more profitable working in the shop. |
