You really need to go look at a closed cell application. We just did our garage like loran said with 3in of foam the enviro seal guys that did it said it also added 42% to the wall strength. I wish our shop was done that way. Both shop and garage have tyvec. The shop has 8ft wide 6inch bats wrapped with visqueen on the inside its nice but the foam is the cadilac program.
