I've had good luck. I used it twice. Don't expect it to work well instantly, time is your friend. Like someone said above the prices drop over time as shippers bid against each other for your load. It's like an auction in reverse. Be honest and patient and it should work out well. Both my contacts/haulers were small time operators with a pickup and a big trailer. That's all my job called for and I got a very good rate as I was a backhaul for them. You pay them on the spot at delivery and the brokerage fee to the U-ship web site. U-ship must be rolling in cash. I wish I'd thought of it.
