Wi | There are plenty of switched power sources in the fuse panel in the cab. Easiest thing is like stated above. Use the nice add-a-circuit/line fuse tap to draw power from a switched less important source to use as your "signal", then run accessory power wires to your radio. These trucks aren't set up very good for adding circuits.
If it is a classic truck you can drill a hole in the firewall on the drivers side of the turbo. You will see the big cutout. Install a grommet and run your wires through some loom and into the cab. | |
