I found hotels in Eagan were significantly cheaper for sleep and fly than those next to the airport. I went to Country Inn, Eagan don't know about park and fly without the room. Last May getting to the airport two hours early with carry on only got me to the loading area about an hour before the airplane arrived. It did take maybe ten or 15 minutes longer to and from the airport.
