southern MN | Here in southern MN, I planted a couple acres of peas & rye. Threw in a few of your radish seeds and some floor sweepings - oats, clover alfalfa.
Planted it in September, on a patch we ran tile through. Wanted to put it in in August, but was too dry. Was still to dry in September, but had the seed, put it out there. Been dry ever since. About 200 rye seeds sprouted, they found a tish of moisture. The rest of the seed is in the dry powder. I'm interested to see if any of that comes up this spring. We finally had a 1/4 inch of rain a week ago, but really winter is getting worse for us right now, lows neat 10 degrees, and lots of flurries in the forcast.
Interesting to see if any of this seed survives to come up whenever we have spring. We likely don't have enough spring to get more than sprouts out of it before a crop goes in, but interesting to see what happens.
