That's one of the few times the Des Moines Register (edit: source of the above article) has run a positive article about livestock farming, rural Iowa, and rural values. This was a very rare sort of article that ran about a week ago.  The Regester throws us a bone occasionally, probably to have something to point to and and pretend they are balanced and objective.  Otherwise, snarky, one sided mud slinging published Des Moines Register in these regards happens frequently, and has been the norm for as long as I've been paying attention.
