Ok, come to my area and I will show you they work better then wheels.  And with our track machines, we have not seen any increase maintence costs.  No flat tires either.  One tractor has been here since 1993 and nothing more then two oil changes in the bogie wheels.  All of them have worked in the field putting in crops and taking crops out, when the neighbors on wheels could not go.

I get it, its an area thing.  I don't like it when someone makes a broad brush comment.
