Probably a bad injector (hope for that). You can take one of those infrared thermometer guns and shoot the exhaust manifolds to find the different one.
I think the injectors are under the valve cover now, but have't seen a new-ish 3100 series CAT, only the old ones that were a lot like the 3208.
