NW IOWA | IIRC they should be just touching so you can turn one and the other one does not turn. That is for the offset disc openers. The way they are designed they will rub tighter when pulled through the soil. The other post is for the JD style non offset opener. If you set the Case opener that way you will cut the leading disc with the trailing disc. Actually I set mine so they just touch in some spots and not in others, because they are never perfectly true. Have never had a problem with them. | |
