| I think the ends are about 8 foot in diameter. I know they are smaller than the trailer table but I copied the size from an original Agri- Drain spool. I would probably make them a little bigger if I was to do it again.
In the pic of the spools assembled and painted, you can see the ring on the top that slide over the outside of the spool. They work ok but I have to remember to put a stop bolt through the spool to keep the top from coming off when it is removed with a roll of tile on it.
