Subject: Selling and breeding Heifers?

South Central Kansas, Harper County
I sold short load of Red Angus Replacement Heifers yesterday at special cow sale in Salina, Kansas. Sold extremely well(I thought), weighing 730# and bringing $1160 per head. I saved a few to keep for myself. I used to AI some of my cows about 15-18 years ago, but sold all my equipment several years ago. Now, my son thinks we should AI these heifers, and I told him I think I could still do it, but may have read some of my old manuals to make sure I didnt forget anything. Anyway, what are those of you that AI, using for cycling and heat detection? Anything "new" in the last 15 years?
thanks,
Jim
