| These calves only got hay and a little liquid protien, and weaned since Nov 16th. (about 100 days weaned, and probably gained .5/day) they were as green as green gets. That's why they only weighed what they do. I had a butt load of calves off of heifers too, which I weaned at the same time. (my heifers START calving AFTER the cows are done..)
lol, I do things a little bass ackward around here.... most guys here are already done with their heifers!!
I sold at Creighton Livestock. (NE Nebraska).
I got a feeling the 'extra' bucks in my pocket will be needed to 'run' the operation this year! | |
