They move forward a good 3-4 inches if i had to guess, when it gets loaded fast in the field i can hear the truck suspension start to creek so if i set the trailer brakes and turn the main brakes off the whole thing lunges forward. Also had one slide off the wood blocks i put under when unhooking during the winter.

I can easily see how that would take out the dolly, they arent made for much lateral movement.
