Subject: RE: You can not VT with concave blades

ND
I don't care what they call them, but I feel they have their place on our farm. I had a disk and sold it and it's being replaced with a new VT tool, ahh i mean "disk". I've tried the true VT tools and they have their place also, but in ND we have lots of wind and that causes stalks on top of the ground to blow. I don't want my fields till completely black, but i do want to mix some dirt with the residue. I also like the fact that these VT disks can make a pretty nice seed bed in one pass...something i've struggled getting out of a traditional disk.
