Yes, the cylinder on the bottom so close is a flaw, I want to move the spindles to the bottom of the frame, it would pick it up six inches. For now if it looks like it's going to drag, I just pick it up alittle to gain clearance.
Yes, it's a cold cut saw, very happy with it so far. Have had circular saw version for several years now and just got the other to go with it.
Shop is old enough to vote and then some, some day it will get a face lift.
Roll of Baughman tile is 1300 lbs, cart weighs 3500, I had the tires already laying around so I built around them. They float good in mud and I only have 15 lbs of air in them to cushion the ride.
I'm going to guess that it took 30 hours to build, I worked on it intermittently, if I had to do it again it would be half of that.
